11/18 -11/20 Changing Times, Changing Worlds

Picture
Join us in a weekend of workshops and panels covering healing, divination, religion and spirituality, energy use, and (dare we say) magic? As beings of spirit and body, it’s time to stop dreaming about our non-physical abilities and learn to use them: safely, ethically, responsibly, and practically.

9/22/11 Mabon - Hampshire College

The Hampshire College Pagan Collective will be hosting an event to celebrate the Autumn Equinox:
The Second or Continuing Harvest. Now, as at Ostara, the days and nights are equal once again. gardens are in full bloom and heavy with nature's bounty. There is a slight nip in the air already and preparations begin to prepare for the long cold months which are to come. (from:http://www.witchvox.com/va/dt_va.html?a=usxx&c=holidays&sc=mabon&id=1990)

The event starts at 5pm with a few minutes to settle in. Everyone will then gather in a circle and we will begin the ritual. If you do not wish to participate in the ritual you are welcome to observe quietly.  During the ritual we will have a short meditation to reflect on our goals for the coming year and what we have learned. Once the ritual is over there will be food provided for people who wish to stay. There will be food available for Vegans and those who are Gluten-free. We also encourage, but do not require, people to bring food to the event. It can be juice, chips, bread....etc. Your contribution, if you choose to make one, does not have to be Vegan or Gluten-free... anything you bring will be a wonderful gift to the group.

EVENT TIME : 5pm
EVENT PLACE: Spiritual Life Center, Greenwich Donut 5
